Arrive ready for your event
Periodised preparation that builds toward your key ride or race and peaks when it matters, with cycling-specific S&C in Soho, London.
The goal
Event & Race Preparation
An event gives your training a deadline and a purpose, and it changes how the work should be planned. A sportive, a gran fondo, a time trial, or a stage race each ask for something specific, and the off-bike work needs to build toward it rather than run on regardless. Get the timing right and you arrive strong, sharp, and resilient. Get it wrong and you peak three weeks early or turn up flat.
This goal is about that timing. We work back from your event date, set the off-bike strength, power, and durability work in blocks, and taper so the form lands on the day. The same periodised thinking that runs through everything we do is pointed at one target. It is coached by people who have prepared for and ridden these events themselves, so the plan respects both the demands of the event and the realities of getting to the start line healthy.

Common
questions
How far out should I start preparing?
It depends on the event and your starting point, but more runway is better, because periodised strength and durability work takes blocks of weeks to build and then taper. We work back from your date to set a realistic plan. Even a shorter window helps, as long as the timing and the taper are handled properly.
Do you plan my riding as well as the gym work?
Our focus is the off-bike strength and conditioning, periodised around your event and your riding. We work alongside your riding plan or coach, sequencing the gym work so it supports your key sessions and your taper rather than leaving your legs flat when you need them fresh.
What kinds of events do you prepare riders for?
Sportives and gran fondos, time trials, hill climbs, road races, and stage events, plus hybrid challenges. Each has different demands, so the plan is built around the specific event. What stays the same is the periodised approach: build the right qualities in blocks, then peak and taper so the form is there on the day.
