Cycling Coaching

One coaching relationship that joins the bike and the gym into a single periodised plan for higher power, a lower CdA, and the durability to stay strong late, coached by people who race, in Soho, London.

Cycling coaching with Supertraining at UNTIL Soho, London

The short answer

What cycling coaching is

Cycling coaching with Supertraining is one coaching relationship that joins the bike and the gym into a single periodised plan, bringing on-bike performance thinking, off-bike strength and conditioning, and mobility into one programme built around your goals, your calendar, and the hours you actually have. Most cyclists are coached on the bike or trained in the gym, rarely both, and almost never as one plan. This is the version where it is one plan.

This is the relationship, not a single session. It starts with an honest baseline, runs through a structured block, and is reviewed against markers that mean something to a rider. The principles are simple and hold throughout: adaptation comes from the right training stimulus, progressive overload, and real recovery.

The route in is a Performance Assessment, then in-person coaching at UNTIL Soho, online coaching with regular check-ins, or a blend of the two, agreed on a short Zoom consultation. It is coached by competitive cyclists who understand FTP, CdA, and rate of force development from the inside, so the work always points at what makes you faster.

What cycling coaching includes

One periodised plan that joins the bike and the gym, coached by people who race.

One plan, not three

On-bike thinking, off-bike strength, and mobility planned as a single periodised programme, so the parts add up instead of pulling against each other.

Built around your calendar

The plan is periodised around your event calendar and the hours you realistically have, so the work fits your real week.

Coached by people who race

Your coaches understand FTP, CdA, and rate of force development from the inside, so the work always points at what makes you faster.

A clear pathway in

Everything starts with a Performance Assessment and an honest baseline, then in-person coaching, online, or a blend of the two.

Tracked against real markers

Progress is reviewed against markers that matter to a rider, with feedback in both directions rather than guesswork.

Time-efficient by design

The programme is built to complement your riding rather than compete with it, so two well-chosen sessions a week do the work.

How cycling coaching
works

Everything starts with an honest baseline. From there we build one periodised plan that joins the bike and the gym, coach it in person or online, and review it against markers that matter to a rider.

Assess the whole rider

We start with a Performance Assessment, or fold the same screen into your first sessions: riding history, goals, old injuries, position, off-bike strength, and your real available time.

Build one periodised plan

On-bike thinking, off-bike strength, and mobility are sequenced into a single programme around your calendar, with the balance of strength, power, durability, and mobility set for your goals.

Cycling coaching
FAQs

What is included in Cycling Coaching?

One periodised programme that brings on-bike performance thinking, off-bike strength and conditioning, and mobility together. It starts with an assessment to set a baseline, then runs as in-person coaching, online coaching, or a blend, with regular feedback and progress reviewed against markers that matter to a rider.

How is this different from a cycling coach who only plans my riding?

A riding-only coach handles your time on the bike. We add the off-bike strength, power, and mobility work that the bike alone cannot build, and we plan both sides as one. That is the whole point of the package: the gym and the road working to the same calendar, not separately.

Do I have to start with the Performance Assessment?

It is the recommended starting point because it sets an honest baseline and makes everything after it more effective, but it is not compulsory. Some riders fold the same screen into their first coaching sessions instead. We agree the best route for you on a short Zoom consultation before anything is booked.

Can the coaching be in person, online, or both?

All three. You can train in person at UNTIL Soho, follow a periodised online programme with check-ins, or blend the two so you get hands-on sessions when it counts and structured remote programming the rest of the time. The mix is built around your schedule and reviewed as your needs change.

How much time does it take each week?

For most riders, two well-chosen off-bike sessions a week return the most for the time invested, sequenced around your key rides. The exact amount depends on your goals, your calendar, and how you recover, and we agree it early so the plan fits your real week rather than an idealised one.

How do I get started?

Use the contact section, email ben@cocoonhub.com, or message us. We set up a short Zoom consultation to understand your riding and goals, recommend a route in, and agree the right package from there. There is no online booking system yet, and the process is deliberately human.
